Information for PhD and Postdoc applicants:
Currently we have 3 openings for PhD positions (applications are welcome in February 2020).
We invite applications for 2 PhD positions in lipidomics and/or metabolomics and one for multiomics applications. Therefore, the lab seeks for a talented and highly motivated scientist to pursue mass spectrometry-based analysis of complex lipid assemblies to elucidate novel signalling hubs in nuclear receptor signaling.
The primary focus is the development and implementation of analytical tools suited for the quantitative analysis of signaling lipids addressing fundamental questions in the field of fat cell differentiation. A successful candidate will work with interdisciplinary, will stream line analytical approaches and integration across various domains. Regular publication of scientific and methodological results is strongly encouraged. Finally, the successful candidate will be able to effectively present complex results in a clear and concise manner that is accessible to a diverse audience of quantitative, experimental, and clinical scientists. Complete applications including certificates, with an academic curriculum vitae with full publication list, a cover letter, as well as your expertise and methodological competencies, names as well as contact information of 2 references, if available, should be submitted (quoting the reference number 02/2020 in the subject header) as a single pdf document to: Robert.firstname.lastname@example.org
