Technical recommendation for the quantitative analysis of oxylipins and new ideas for targeting them in oxidized phospholipids


Nils H. Schebb has been the head of the Chair of Food Chemistry at Bergische Universität Wuppertal since 2014. From 2011 to 2017, he led a research group at the University of Veterinary Medicine Hannover. Between 2009 and 2011, he was a postdoctoral researcher at the University of California in the group of Prof. Dr. B. Hammock. He completed his PhD at the University of Münster from 2006 to 2009 at the Institute of Inorganic and Analytical Chemistry under Prof. Dr. U. Karst. Before that, he studied food chemistry, biochemistry, and toxicology at the universities of Münster and Karlsruhe. Throughout his career, he has received numerous awards and scholarships, including the Kurt-Täufel Prize in 2015 and the Sanofi-Aventis Prize in 2014.
